Tradition Gone Bad

Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Cindy and she was in love with a young man named Angel. They dated for a while, but decided that they wanted to be married. The wedding was a beautiful cerimony and although Angel's family wasn't there, he still was happy because he loved Cindy very much and would guard her with his life. Christmas time was the young couple's favorite holiday and they decided to make a new tradition. They would go from door to door and sing christmas carols. One chilly night, they went caroling and with them was Cindy's best friend Melissa. It was cold so some people allowed us to enter their home to serenaid them with our voices. They encountered one place with a family consisiting of a husband, a wife, and their young daughter. It was a warm pleasant store that they lived in. They were very welcoming and kind, but there was something about them that seemed a little creepy. Cindy sang a song for them called "Believe". The family really enjoyed it, as did Angel. Angel smiled at Cindy so sweetly and mouthed the words "I Love You". The husband of the family caught that and became very jealous of Angel and Cindy's love. As Cindy sat with the wife, the husband took hold of Angel and locked him in a big clear case. Cindy and Melissa became very frightened and tried to help Angel. Angel felt so helpless and he was often very protective of Cindy because he never wanted someone to harm her. Something would happen, but Cindy nor Angel knew what it was. The little family whispered amongst themselves. Finally, the husband made a move and started to chase Cindy around with a knife. Cindy ran around frantically in fear. Angel became angry and began trying to break out of the case. The husband wouldn't stop. He shouted repeatedly, "I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU", but Cindy refused to stop running. The wife and daughter tried to stop Cindy and assure her that the husband wouldn't hurt her and that he just wanted to love her, but again Cindy wouldn't stop. Meanwhile Melissa was trying to get Angel out of the case so that he could help Cindy. When they were finally able to get Angel out, he immediatly came to Cindy's rescue. Cindy ran behind Angel and he stood strongly in front of her (he looked like a big, strong bear protecting his cub). As Angel stood in front of her, he gathered all his strength and punched the husband so hard in the face that the husband fell out cold for a while. In the time that the husband was out, Cindy and Melissa managed to escape and run ahead of Angel to open the car. They jumped in quickly and Angel jumped in shortly after them. As they looked out of the car window, they saw the husband running to get in his car to chase the couple and their friend. As Angel drove the car quickly off, the husbands car began to fade in the night. They finally lost him. The couple was so happy to be safe and warm together. That famly was never seen again. Never again would they go Christmas caroling and never again would Angel ever leave his wife's side. The couple then lived happily ever after.

Special Dinner

If there were three people that I could have dinner with they would be: Esther (from the bible), Cortetta Scott King, and Mary, Jesus' mother. I would pick them because all three were women of faith. All three are never forgotten. All three have been significant in history. I would love to sit and have a conversation with them. I would like to ask them questions such as how they got to where they were? What inspired them? What encouraged them when they were weak? Those are some of the questions I would love to ask them because then it can inspire me to be a woman of faith; The one God called me to be. They inspire me to want more faith and trust in the Lord more. They are my women of faith rolemodels.

My Home

Walking through the door of my home is peaceful, sometimes. I wake up in the morning to my alarm clock and the house is quiet because everyone is gone by the time I wake up. When I come home from school it's peaceful as well because I'm the first one home from a long day. By the time everyone gets home, it's usually noisy. Theres the dogs, my loud mouth family memebers, and the sound of a dinner getting cooked. Most of my evenings I spend at church but when I'm home it can get pretty noisy. Most of the time my family and I sit down for a family dinner and we laugh and enjoy each others company. When were not all together in the house, someone is usually blasting music and its not just any music, it has o be the noisiest and most obnoxiuos music. Lights are always left on everywhere in the house. My dogs and birds are constantly making noise. The only place I have to myself is my place of dwelling which is my room. My room is the most peacful part of my home and without it, I would be insane.

The Time of my Greatest Fear

I felt my breathe getting heavier and heavier. I felt my heart about to pound out of my chest but yet I was calm. Once my brother and I had done something really bad, but the memory of what we had done is vague. We were in so much trouble and my father had told us to meet him in the basement to get spanked with a paddle. At that time I was about 10 years old and my brother was 12 so we were so afraid of my father. My father was like a horror movie, a nightmare, and a haunted house in one so you can only imagine the kind of fear my brother and I had. My brother and I had come up with a plan so that it wouldn't hurt when we got spanked. We put on a numerous amount of underwear to protect our behinds. I was so afraid that we were going to get caught so my heart began to pound and I started to breathe heavy but in my mind I was calm because I knew if we didn't get caught that my spanking wasn't going to hurt. We heard my fathers foot steps walking heavily down the stairs and each heavy step that he took my heart would beat harder and harder. I felt tears coming down my cheeks because I was so afraid and when I finally saw him my tears were uncontrollable. When it was time to get spanked my brother went first and he didn't get caught so I knew I wasn't gonig to get caught either. I felt like laughing when it was over because I was so fearful of my dad and we didn't even get caught. I know it was bad to lie. I learned that there is no easy way to get out of consequences. I just have to stand up and own up to my mistakes. That was my most fearful day.

My Perfect Summer

A perfect summer includes sun, travel, and friends. My perfect summer would include going to different places. I would go to florida for a month and I would also go camping a lot. In florida we would go to the mall, movies, pool, beach, and to vist family. While I camp I would tell scarey stories by the camp fire and roast marshmellows over the fire. I would swim as much as possible at the beach or at the pool. Hopefully, I would be able to go swimming almost everyday. I would love to go to the beach almost every weekend with all my friends to play ultimate frisbee. It's always fun when im with my friends. I would have sleepovers with my girlfriends just about everyday. We would have so much fun talking, joking, and watching scarey movies together. A week of my summer would also include participating in V.B.S. for the little children. Helping in anyway possible, is what I would do everyday for that week. This "perfect" summer of mine would be a blast and a blessing. I would be so greatful for such a summer as this.

I think the best movie of all time is "West Side Story". This is a good movie because this movie demonsrates that it takes a tragedy to realize that it doesn't matter how differnet people are, they sholud still be kind. Also you can't forbid love. People have freedoms and that is well demonsrtated in this move. This magnificent movie is a different type of Romeo and Juliet. I recommend this movie to people who like romance, comedy, and reality.
The thing that makes me happy is my family. I really love my family and I would do anything for them. Even though we bicker and fight like every family would, in the end we always find a way to make it better. My siblings are a big part of my life. To us its like if one got in trouble we all got in trouble. My brother and I always got spanked together. One time we got in trouble and we were gonna get spanked with a paddle so my brother and I went to our rooms and put on a lot of underwear on so that it wouldn't hurt. Then we met my dad in the basement where we got spanked. It was funny when my dad finished and went up stairs. We started laughing. So basically we have all gone through a lot together. That has all just made me love my family even more. They are my joy;my happiness.
